Over the past several years, events such as the U.S.–China trade tensions, and the Russia–Ukraine war, have highlighted the far-reaching impact of geopolitical shocks on asset valuations, capital mobility, and overall financial stability. In an increasingly fragmented global landscape, understanding how geopolitical forces transmit through financial systems and shape market dynamics has become both a pressing challenge and a critical frontier of academic inquiry.
